Peab has been commissioned to build a new car dealership in Ålesund for Waagan Eiendom. The contract is worth NOK 113 million, writes Nordic News.
The tenant in the new facility will be car dealer Bertel O. Steen, who is gathering its three dealerships under one roof at Digerneset in Ålesund. The facility will be 10,000 m2, divided into three buildings. They will contain a car section, passenger car section and van section.

“We feel strongly that we own this project and have worked very well together with both Waagan Eiendom and Bertel O. Steen on developing the facility. Our goal is to have two very happy customers when the dealership is ready in 2022,” says Kjetil Nordang, Region Manager Peab.
Construction will start in August 2021 and the car dealership will be ready for occupation in December 2022.The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2021.
